The MAchine Translation Research and Interlingual eXperimentation (MATRIX) Lab is a group of researchers at Brigham Young University who are passionate about enabling global communication between people all over the world. The lab explores advancing machine translation (MT) research in areas such as multimodal MT, Sign-Language MT, low-resource MT, unsupervised learning, and multilingual MT. The MATRIX Lab is led by Dr. Steve Richardson and Dr. Eric Ringger.
